When you visit this website

This website has no forms, no user accounts and no advertising. It does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, and it does not load fonts or scripts from other companies.

Our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., receives technical data each time a page loads: your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time. Netlify uses this data to deliver the website and to protect it against attack, and keeps it in its server logs for a short period. Netlify processes this data for us under a data processing agreement. Netlify is based in the United States, and its agreement includes safeguards for transfers of data out of the UK.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

When you contact us

If you email or telephone us, we receive your name, your contact details, the content of your message and any details you give us about a property or your requirements.

We use this data to reply to you, to discuss our services and, if you become a client, to provide those services. Our lawful basis is to take steps at your request before a contract, to perform a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running our business. Our email service is provided by Microsoft.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only:

• with our service providers (Microsoft for email, Netlify for hosting), who act on our instructions;
• with other professionals, such as solicitors, surveyors or agents, when you ask us to or when this is necessary to provide our services to you;
• when the law requires us to.

How long we keep data

We keep an enquiry that does not lead to work for up to two years. We keep client records for six years after our work for you ends, because the law requires us to keep business and tax records for that period.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or limit how we use it. You can also object to how we use it, and ask us to transfer it to you or to another organisation. To use a right, contact us with the details above. We will reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
